Jeff Heath

A native to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Jeff Heath has played with many local area bands
throughout the years. His musical interest originally began with Brian Hanson, Don
Schutz, Jon Marten and Mike Allen in Junior High. Marten and Schutz taught Heath
how to play bass. After countless jam sessions Heath and his friends started playing
music in public.
Heath continued his music career after high school touring with the the Eau Claire
hard rock sensation Axis, as well as several other tremendous groups such as
Faultline, Occupant, Closenuf, The Cray Fun Band, Spanky, and In-Ka-Hoots. The
styles of music have varied greatly from band to band. Heath has often been featured
singing in the past, as well as backup vocals.
Heath met Mike Allen 10 years ago at a studio session. Heath and Allen remained
friends for years but this is the first time that they have had the opportunity to play
together outside of the studio.
Heath is a tremendous player and singer and a great addition to complete the group.
Wielding his reliable vintage Gibson bass guitar, Heath brings his own blend of rock
and blues to expand Divided Highway's ever expanding categories of cover and
original music.
