Christopher David Peck born April 29, 1973 in Winona, Mn to Pam (Brand) and the late David
Peck.  Peck was exposed to "live music" at an early age by his grandmother, a talented pianist,
his uncle a banjo player and guitarist, and his father a guitarist.  Peck parents bough his first
drum kit when he was four.  Peck's father's best friend Mark Rohrer, started teaching Peck by
example as Peck sat in on many late night jam sessions.  He used this experience, and
Rohrer's purple swirl slingerland drum kit to hone his skills as a fill in drummer with several
"garage bands" during the 80's.  Also during this time he was performing with the
Cochrane-Fountain City High School concert, marching, jazz and pep bands.  At graduation he
received the John Phillip Sousa award for musicianship in percussion and a separate award
each for band and choir from his directors.  At this time an injury to his right hand had Chris
playing all his concerts with only his left hand.  Peck soon landed a spot with Shadow Dancer.  
Peck formed a lasting friendship with Jim Heinemann. After Shadow Dancer's television debut
at the Rochester, MN Mayo Civic Center, Chris moved on to an aerial photography career that
took him to every state coast to coast where he had a lot of time to listen to music and see live
performances and concert of all kinds.  Finally, after 7 years on the road he settled down in
Goodview, MN.  Rich Lyga of Arcadia, WI approached Peck about forming an original metal
band.  The band Stick Boy was formed with the addition of John Yeski, and played its first and
only show opposite Mike Shuttleworth's band 715 in Dodge, WI.  Later after adding bassist
Dave Shmeckpepper, the band became UNSCENE.  They released their self titled debut in
2006 and are a favorite among La Crosse area metal heads.  Now with years of experience,
an array of killer chops and tone to the bone, Peck adds his flavor to the Divided Highway
band.
